Dr. Vineet Nakra is an Indian physician currently working as Visiting Consultant at Max Hospital, Vaishali (Delhi NCR) in the Department of Radiation Oncology and Chairman of Lenus Oncology Institute.

Experience

With over eight years of experience as a practicing Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Vineet Nakra is dedicated to excellence in cancer care. Currently a Visiting Consultant at Max Hospital, Dr. Nakra’s clinical focus lies in providing patients with cutting-edge treatments while offering compassionate, personalized care. His experience spans premier institutions, including Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, where he honed his skills in proton therapy and advanced cancer care.

Career

Dr. Nakra graduated in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the prestigious Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai in 2015. He did his post-graduation (DNB Radiation Oncology) from the premier Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi in 2019.

He is one of the few oncologists in the country to have experience in Proton beam therapy from his experience at the Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, Chennai (South east Asia's first PROTON beam therapy centre).

Dr. Nakra has also completed fellowship in Immuno-Oncology from Harvard Medical School, USA and achieved a certificate of achievement from the premier institution.

In 2021, he was inducted as a Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (India).

He has been associated with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Max Hospital, Saket, Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, Chennai and Jaypee Hospital, Noida in the past prior to his current posting.
